Meet the National Wealth Fund at All-Energy 2026

We’re looking forward to a busy two days at the All Energy renewable and low carbon exhibition and conference on 13 and 14 May at SEC, Glasgow.

Come and hear from us at our panel sessions and meet us at our information stand N50. We’ll be on hand to talk about how we’re supporting the UK’s clean energy transition, unlocking private investment, and backing projects that deliver long-term growth across the country.  

The sessions we are speaking at are outlined below.

Wednesday 13 May

  • Session: De-risking the Energy Transition: Financing Critical Energy Infrastructure 

Eddie McAvinchey, Director – Scotland at the National Wealth Fund, will speak alongside Clare Foster of Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP, Monika Paplaczyk of Thrive Renewables, Graham Arnold of Lloyds Banking Group and Angenika Kunne of Aviva Investors.

  • Session: Beyond Generation: Why Storage Is Essential to Deliver Clean Power in GB 

Peter Clifton, Director in Investment and Advisory at the National Wealth Fund, will speak alongside Ed Porter of Modo Energy, Fabrizio Fenu of EDF, Louise Dalton of CMS, Lisa Mackay of Fidra Energy and Vijay Shinde of Siemens Energy.

Colin Hudson, Managing Director in Investment and Advisory at the National Wealth Fund, will speak alongside George McKinlay of Shepherd and Wedderburn, Iain Sinclair of  Scottish Offshore Wind Ports Alliance, Paul Olvhoj of Eyemouth Harbour Trust and Ragne Low of the Scottish Government. 

Thursday 14 May

  • Session: Plenary Panel: Delivering the Energy Transition – Timelines, Trust & Accountability 

Joel Kenrick, Head of Policy (Climate Change) at the National Wealth Fund, will speak alongside Erikka Askeland of Energy Voice, Liz Ditchburn of the North Sea Transition Authority, Sam Ghibaldan of Consumer Scotland, Melanie Macrae of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and Nicola Connelly of SP Energy Networks.
