Emily Sidhu, Managing Director, Private Sector Finance

Emily is Managing Director in Private Sector Finance, leading our work in sectors including CCUS and hydrogen. She has also taken a leading role in the development of our guarantee product. 

Emily brings over 20 years of experience in public sector financial institutions. She joined the organisation in November 2022 and was named Managing Director in 2024. Prior to this, she spent nearly 18 years at UK Export Finance, most recently as Head of Project Finance Risk. Throughout her career, she has led the negotiation and financing of energy and infrastructure projects across the UK, Europe and globally, with specialist expertise in origination, structuring, credit and portfolio management. Emily holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and a PhD in Civil Engineering.
